During 2014, four students from Marian College, Myrtleford raised enough money to purchase 10 scientific calculators for the Lacluta Middle School Maths classes.
The girls, Grace, Hope, Ruby and Alana made cakes, pancakes and coffee which they sold at school to raise the cost of the calculators.
As the Lalcuta teachers and students do not have access to any calculators they will be delighted to receive these. The girls are looking forward to seeing photos of the calculators being used in the Lacluta classes.
Friends of Lacluta are very grateful for the work the girls have done and to all students of Marian College who once again have donated large amounts of school stationary. For the third year running this will supply class materials which are not available to the Lacluta students.
